I didn’t come from a big business background, and there was no one to show me the way when I started. But maybe that’s exactly what made this journey what it is today.
 

It all started in 2013, while I was studying in 12th standard. That’s when I first got introduced to drones. At the time, drone technology felt like something from the future, exciting, but very new and not easily accessible, especially here in Tamil Nadu. Still, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I kept following the technology, watching, learning, and dreaming about where it could lead.
 

In 2015, while in college, my friends and I made a decision that would shape my life. Instead of paying our semester fees,
we pooled that money and bought our first drone. We didn’t have experience. We didn’t have a clear plan. But we had passion, and we wanted to give it a try. That was my first step into this world.
 

We started freelancing as drone pilots and aerial cinematographers. Our first projects were small shoots for my own college events and advertisements. Slowly, we started getting wedding shoots, commercial events, and media projects. But this journey wasn’t smooth.
 

I clearly remember the day my first drone crashed. At that moment, I felt completely helpless. There were no proper drone academies, no mentors, and no one to guide me on what to do next. I realised that I had to figure things out myself,
not just to fly, but to build, to repair, and to understand the technology deeply.
 

That experience taught me an important lesson: when no one is there to guide you, you have to become your own teacher. So I began learning how to build drones from scratch. I learned by doing, by failing, and by never giving up.
 

As I grew, more and more people started approaching me for help. They wanted to learn, but there was no proper training available at that time in Tamil Nadu. That’s when the idea took shape in my mind: to build something that I wish I had when I was starting.
 

In 2018, I launched my first trial academy in Chennai, called Nova Drone Academy. It was a testing ground to see if people were really interested. And surprisingly they were. The response was strong, and with investor support, I expanded and opened Skywalk Drobotics Academy in Coimbatore in 2019.
 

From there, things started to move faster. I and My team trained over 1,000 pilots so far, people from different walks of life, all coming together with a shared goal: to master this amazing technology and build a career from it.
 

By 2023, I knew the next step was to go beyond training and offer official pilot licensing. That’s when I founded Aerdroids.

In November 2024, we achieved a major milestone: DGCA RPTO approval. Today, Aerdroids is an officially recognised Drone Training Organisation, helping students not just learn but also become certified professionals.
 

But beyond all these achievements, there’s something I quietly feel proud of. Since my college days, I’ve been financially independent. I paid my own fees, bought my first bike, my first car, my first property, and all my companies - everything I’ve built has come from this journey I started early in life. There were no shortcuts and no external support, no Family backing. Just the drive to build a career early, and the determination to keep learning and moving forward.
 

I may not be a big entrepreneur running a massive company yet, but I’ve built something real. Something meaningful. A platform that helps people who were once like me curious, ambitious, and looking for a chance, to find their way.
 

This story is not just mine. It belongs to every student who trusted me, every person who believed in the power of learning, and everyone who chose to turn their passion into a profession.
 

And while I’m proud of how far we’ve come, I know this is still just the beginning.

The sky was never the limit. For me, and for everyone at Aerdroids, it’s only the starting point.

PS: To be honest, I never thought I’d share this story publicly. It’s always been a part of me that I kept personal, close, and quiet. But my team kept reminding me - maybe, just maybe, it could give someone the push they need to start their own journey. This isn’t my full story, it never could be. It’s just a small part of the path I’ve walked so far. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned along the way, it’s this: if I could start from nothing and find my way, so can you.
